"We purchased our house from Marie G off the plan. We wanted to add some personal touches to what had been designed. We were living interstate at the time and had purchased almost 8 month before the build was to be completed.What we got was a one of the easiest and collaborative experience in building and designing a house. From late night phone calls (When Marie and we had put the kids to bed) to discuss pool tiles, flooring options and a multitude of discussion points. Marie provided us with a sense of trust and confidence we've rarely experienced. She is an ethical and conscientious builder with high quality standards. Approachable and flexible, we got the sense that the build was personal for Marie and working along we were provided a list of awesome surprises, the extra study nook, the free stone upgrade to pantry - she took the time to get to know us and instinctively or by experience knew what we would want or gently steered us in the right direction.We have lost count of the number of tradies, cleaners, valuers who have come through the house and commented on the great build quality of our house. We had a vison in 2019 of enclosing the front deck and turning into a lounge room and making the exiting space a dining room with kitchen bench. How hard could this be?We had a very strong and real vision of what the finished product looked like. Our non-negotiable was a bay window in the front.We knew our first phone call was going to be to Marie G.Marie came over and immediately had the shared vision of what we wanted to achieve and shared genuine excitement for what the project could achieve for us as a family and what character and value it would add to our property.We looked know further and the planning began to turn the shared vision into reality.Having done renovations before we knew we needed to be flexible along the way and be challenged by Marie G and her team on finding better ways during the project. We certainly enjoyed the “hands on” work by Marie and the regular feedback and “what about this” during construction.The result and transformation are simply stunning. It looks like it has always been there.It has become more to us than just a lounge room.The high raked ceilings with casement windows with transoms above have given the room a conservatory look with a beautiful outlook over tree lined Graceville.Yes, it is a place for us to relax as a family both watching TV or just sitting in the Chesterfield sofa’s relaxing and watching the sky. As you do that you simply cannot ignore the craftsmanship, the attention to detail and the high quality in character finish.With the lounge room that adjoins the kitchen with a beautiful new stone top kitchen bench compliments the new dining room and beautiful cedar doors and sidelights leading down to new stairs and landing.Marie G with this project has been amazing through the design, build & style.
